There’s a load of evidence that the famous Guardian isn’t who he says he is, but it all comes down to the events that started Season of the Hunt. But perhaps more interestingly, it lends credibility to a popular fan theory: that the Guardian Osiris is actually Savathun in disguise.ĭestiny fans have had their eye on Osiris for a few seasons now. First, Savathun has infiltrated the Last City, which Guardians consider to be the safest space in the galaxy. There are a few reasons this gross book is garnering a lot of attention from Guardians. At one point she vomits black ooze into the air. In the lore page (called Ripe and taken from the Beneath the Endless Night book), Savathun talks about possessing a “conspicuous” form and that the “people here grant me many affordances.” She then goes on to describe how her worm is doing - hungry, as always - and gets rather gross around how her possession is holding up. The voice in the lore not only mentions the Worm God inside her - proof enough that it’s Savathun - but also takes responsibility for the endless night.
